Hello friends and family! It has been a little over a week since I left, and today marks one full week of training camp!

In just the span of a week, I have seen the Lord do so much in me and reveal so many wonderful things. I’ve learned how to embrace the uncomfortable through bucket showers, using only a porta-potty, bucket laundry, sleeping in a tent, and, most importantly, allowing myself to become emotionally undone.

The Lord has given me so much comfort from the moment I said goodbye and stepped onto the plane to begin this amazing journey. As I look back on this first week, the main word I want to leave with both myself and others is UNDONE.

While talking with one of our mentors, he left me with this thought: by the end of this trip, the Lord will leave me undone. At first, I thought, I’ve already given everything to the Lord. I’m fully undone for Him. But the more I’ve sat with that thought, the more I’ve realized there is still so much of me that needs to be surrendered and fully undone by the Lord.

As we have trained and now begin transitioning into ministry, I’m realizing that the Lord isn’t only sending me out to see the nations changed—He is changing me, too. And I am in awe of all He has already done in just one week as I’ve learned more about myself, different cultures, people, and so much more.

Another huge blessing has been being surrounded by the most wonderful, like-minded people. They have felt like family from the very beginning, and I cannot wait to continue getting to know them and fully doing life with these amazing people for the next 9 MONTHS!

The next few days are coming quickly as we transition into our time of ministry, where we’ll be helping build an AIM base here in Georgia. I would love for you to be praying for me and my team—that we continue to grow in unity, that we remain fully dependent on the Lord, and that we learn to truly rely on Him for rest in the midst of transition.
